Art Acquisition for NC Research Campus
The new North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis is one of a kind. Its creator, David H. Murdock, wants to fill its walls and floor space with one-of-a-kind art created by the best artists in North Carolina.
An art acquisition is being held on October 25, 2008.
All artists must be 18 years old or older and must reside in North Carolina
All work must be the original artwork of the artist.
These media are acceptable for entry: acrylics, water media, graphics, mixed media, oils, photography, pastels, handpulled prints, sculpture, ceramics, fiber, metals and glass.
The Cabarrus County Arts Council is assisting with the Art Collection Acquisition. A prospectus is posted on the arts council's website: http://www.cabarrusartscouncil.org/. Scroll down and click on "NC Research Center Art Collection Acquisition."
