| Exhibiting Membership in Piedmont Craftsmen is open to crafts artists living in the southeast United States. Exhibiting members are accepted through a jury process and produce work recognized nationally and internationally. Jury applicants submit images of their work for a 2-part peer review jury.
We have instituted an on-line digital image jury system using CaFÉ at www.callforentry.org in partnership with Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF). Our application is online and active from early January through April 16. Visit CaFÉ and set up your artist profile. The program is very user-friendly, and they have wonderful tech support. Our application is easy to find on CaFÉ - it's called Piedmont Craftsmen's Fair.
If you are unable to get digital images made, contact us and we will work with you to make sure you can take part in the image jury.
If approved at the image level, applicants are invited to submit work for the object jury, which takes place at the annual Crafts Fair in November. The 2008 Image Jury is currently open, with a deadline of April 16, 2008. Once accepted, members retain their Exhibiting Membership for life by paying annual dues and participating in the activities of the guild.
The 2008 Jury application process is now closed. The 2009 Jury process will begin January 1,2009
